Unliquidated Expenses

We have an employee who ignores our demand to liquidate his expenses. Our main office is in manila but he is assigned in bicol as sales manager. The amount of unliquidated expenses is about P45k, supposedly for maintenance of the company issued car and for representation expenses. Several followups were made by HR but he keeps on making excuses such as, the receipts are not claimed yet, he's been busy with his family and other reasons. Hi to All,Can you please share your inputs with regards to the implementation of Rest Period.Based on the Labor Law, The company may give rest periods or coffee breaks during working hours to beef them up or to make them more productive. So, since giving rest period is already an industry practice, our company is giving rest period, but instead of taking rest period in 10am and 3pm, they are just working 7 hrs and 30 minutes but they are getting paid for 8 hrs.
